AGM & Gladys Cooper Plaque Unveiling
Our Annual General Meeting is on Wednesday 18th of July and you are all invited. We will be reviewing the last year or so and looking into what we could do in the coming year.
We need your input and your help. We would like fresh ideas for the coming year, what do you think we should do? Cinema is only part of our remit for the community. We would like to champion other arts but we need your help to point us in the right direction and to lend us a hand. If you have ideas pop along and share them with us.
If you would like to help out in the coming year we would also like to hear from you. Can you spare 2 hours a year (posting leaflets maybe)? Can you spare 2 hours a month (distributing posters or manning an event maybe)? Can you spare 2 hours a week in preparing events and organising behind the scenes, anything from looking for funding possibilities to adding to our contacts in the expanding arts fields? We need YOU to make this happen for the wider community!
Come and join us next Wednesday for a chat and a laugh. Food and drink will be supplied so just bring yourself and some good ideas!!

All are welcome. Organised by Lewisham History Society and HGCA.
(And just for fun, do you know who the 6 film stars are that we have used in our poster? Just for fun…)
